BIO: Please welcome Kyle Richards to Caring Animal Rescue Inc! Kyle is between 2 and 3 years old. He currently weighs 8.2lbs. This little nugget is super loyal and will follow you everywhere. He loves to snuggle and be held. He can also be extremely feisty, growly, and vocal around people he doesn't know.

He does take time to accept new people and seems to initially prefer women over men. Once he has accepted you into his circle he becomes extremely loving.

Full disclosure, Kyle does have a bite record. He was transferred to us from a local animal shelter after a stranger filed a bite complaint because he nipped someone in the ankle when he got out of his harness during a walk. We can assure you that it was hardly a pinprick, but we will not adopt him to a home with very young children.

Kyle is a quick learner. He does respond to a few commands. He loves to play with toys and happy to fetch. He is ok with dogs and cats that are laid back and give him space but would prefer to be an only. Kyle does have some anxiety when left alone. He will also bark when people come to the door. He will not do well in a condo, townhouse, or apartment setting. He is housebroken on the most part and will use pads as well.

We are a very small rescue. We are a 100% volunteer rescue. We do not have any paid staff. All travel expenses for vetting, intake, meet and greets, home-visits, etc. is paid for by the generosity of our volunteers.

We do require an in-home visit, screening, and verifiable references.

Due to our in-home visit requirements we are ONLY adopting within the city of Chicago, IL. We will not respond to applicants outside of our adoption area.

We will ONLY consider applicants who have filled out our application in full and abide by our rescue protocol.

We will not arrange any meet and greets unless all references have been checked and applicants have been approved.
