BIO: Sandy was rescued from Amman, Egypt. She just turned 2 years old. Her back legs are paralyzed. We aren't sure if she was hit by a car or abused, but whatever the case, she is as sweet as can be. Sandy does use her litter box for urine but does not use it for defecation. She has learned to adapt and is still mobile despite her back leg paralysis. She gets along well with dogs and absolutely loves people. Sandy is UPTD on vaccinations and spayed. She can only be adopted into a home that has previously had cat experience. We know that there is a special someone who is out there for Sandy. In the meantime, we are committed to her care. We would be so appreciative and honored if you would sponsor or donate towards her care.

*Please note that we adopt our kittens in pairs unless there is already an existing cat in the home.*

We are a very small rescue. We are a 100% volunteer rescue. We do not have any paid staff. All travel expenses for vetting, intake, meet and greets, home-visits, etc. is paid for by the generosity of our volunteers.

We do require an in-home visit, screening, and verifiable references.

Due to our in-home visit requirements we are ONLY adopting within the city of Chicago, IL. We will not respond to applicants outside of our adoption area.

We will ONLY consider applicants who have filled out our application in full and abide by our rescue protocol.

We will not arrange any meet and greets unless all references have been checked and applicants have been approved.
