Usher was found tied up outside of the city pound on Super bowl Sunday. He quickly became a staff favorite. He is sweet, playful, friendly, and resilient. He loves to play with other dogs and easily keeps himself entertained with playground toys.

We are a very small rescue. We are a 100% volunteer rescue. We do not have any paid staff. All travel expenses for vetting, intake, meet and greets, home-visits, etc. is paid for by the generosity of our volunteers.

We do require an in-home visit, screening, and verifiable references.

Due to our in-home visit requirements we are ONLY adopting within the city of Chicago, IL. We will not respond to applicants outside of our adoption area.

We will ONLY consider applicants who have filled out our application in full and abide by our rescue protocol.

We will not arrange any meet and greets unless all references have been checked and applicants have been approved.
